Ella Goes East

Well the weekends just keep getting more and more exciting for Ella-Bella. This past weekend she bungee jumped. Nah, just kidding.

Even better though, Ella and Co. drove to Ottawa to meet the rest of the Family. Ella was super stoked ot meet them. So much so that she couldnt keep herself from sleeping all the way there in the car.

First stop was at my Mom and Alan's place in Aylmer friday night. We had a terrific meal (Ella took a pass on the tourtiere - she's on a milk kick these days). Ella even managed a family ceremony – she was Dubbed the "Deacon of Aylmer". Mom and Alan were happy to meet Ella and we all had a good time.

On Saturday we had a slow start but eventually made it up to 'The Ham' (Wakefield). We had a great night of homemade Spag and toasted Ellas first trip to Wakefield with some Champagne. Ella skipped the bubbly but had a little 'boobly' instead.

Delilah was pretty excited to meet her 'Cuz'. She told Christine about 8 weeks before Ella was born that "Ella should come out now. Its dark in there". Delilah who is now 5 changed Ellas diaper better than I can. Embarassing. Delilah was amazing at holding Ella and putting her to sleep.

All in all it was great to finally show off Ella to my side of the family. She's looking forward to Christmas and really, really wants a new 50 inch plasma tv.
