A new Kayak and Ella goes MacGyver.

We took a trip to Ottawa last weekend to visit my family and celebrate my Dad's 65th birthday. Good times were had by all. My Dad has been working on building a new kayak for Delilah and Ella (when she's a bit older, assuming Lilah doesnt trash it running rapids somewhere). So my Dad had an unveiling ceremony with champagne and the works. The boat is beautiful (as you can see in the shots). Ella was pretty excited by the kayak, but pretended to be eating a cracker and not caring about her new toy.
These shots are taken in my Dads workshop which Christine once referred to as "the Shed". That didnt go over so well with my Dad. Its a swanky workshop for sure.
Ella was pretty impressive herself. I was sipping champagne and eating crackers when I noticed she was busy by a work table. when I went to see, she had made a baby doll with glue and a crayon! She never ceases to amaze me. If you dont believe me look at the shot above. Truth.
My Bro in Law Michael (Chef Miguel) made an UN-believable Indian dinner for my Dad that night. Top drawer.
Ella had a blast playing with Delilah and my Sis.
