Cameron Sits Up.

Yesterday Cameron sat up on her own. She's been sitting for a while, but now she can go from being on her belly to sitting up. It took about a minute and it there were moments when I was going to call Cirque du Soleil, but she did it. Apparently this means she'll be crawling soon. With Ella, I was always looking forward to the 'next step', but with Cameron, I wish she's just slow down. The poor thing is getting teeth now and she's such a sensitive soul that she's been a crying mess before bed the last few nights. I bought her a full set of dentures so that she doesnt need teeth, but they were way too big.
The gals have been playing outside a lot since the weather's been warmer. They love it. Cameron's whole routine is different. Inside she sits on the floor and chews stuff. Outside she sits on a blanket on the grass and chews stuff. But when she's outside she doesnt talk on the phone with her friends for hours. "Blah blah blah… Johnny is sooooo cute… blah blah." I shouldnt joke. Soon enough I'll be writing the same thing but it will be the truth. "Dad, can I borrow the keys to the Rolls?"
Ella is changing by the minute. Some details:
– she speaks really well (her Grand Dad even taught her to say "Impossible")
– she is fully potty trained and almost never has accidents
– she can 'read' Red Hat Blue Hat to us (she just knows all the words pretty much by heart)
– this morning she fed Cameron for thew first time
– she's 5' 1", 98 lbs
Ella's also starting to be pretty funny. Some of her faces, or things she says are hilarious. A few weeks ago she was eating breakfast with Christine and she suddenly scrunched up her nose and said "Mama I smell something". Christine asked her what, but Ella just kept her nose scrunched and kept repeating "Smell something Mama". Then she stopped and said, "Oh. I toot-toots".
Here are some shots of our trip to the cottage a few weeks ago and of Grand Dad's visit.
