3 & 1

Well, its been a long time since I posted anything, and in that time, the girls turned 3 and 1. Crazy. I can't believe how fast things change.

Ella's birthday was a bit bigger than Cameron's because Cameron turned one and frankly at that age, they don't know what's going on. That's what we thought. Until we got a letter from Cameron's Lawyers.

For Ella's bday we went to MacDonalds for dinner (she liked the food but wasn't really fussed with the play area, which is why we went). Then we came home and had cake with her Gramma and Grampa Kirkland and Uncle Andrew. Lots of great gifts and hyperness later she passed out.

Cameron's bday (only 5 days later) was lower key. Christine made her a nice cake, but Cameron barely ate any of it. She's a picky eater. The next night she got the taste for it though and scarfed enough to feet a small family. That's her style. She eats. She was walking around on her birthday wearing PJ's with her cute little belly hanging out. Because she walks like a drunk, she looked just like a big guy staggering out of a bar.

Ella is turning into quote the grown up. She's taking swimming lessons by herself (and a teacher – we don't just whip her in the pool and cheer). She also says some pretty funny things. She dressed up in her Fairy outfit (see pic( that Andrew bought her for her bday and when Christine called her Ella, she responded "No Mama! I'm Fairy! Not Ella!"

We went to my end of season soccer party last weekend and as we were leaving, the hostess Nadia said "Oh, you can't go, I made cookies for the girls to decorate!". Ella said "Oh, it's ok. We'll be back tomorrow."
