A Cat and a Witch

Well Halloween is over and Ella has eaten almost all her "special treats". She got a ton of candy and we only went to 5 houses. But for some reason our neighborhood sees almost no kids. Not sure why, but certainly my driving could scare some off.
The plan was for Ella to go as a nurse, but, once she found out Cameron was going to be a cat, she decided she wanted to be a cat. So if anyone knows of a tiny nurse out there who needs a uniform, let us know.
So our neighbors are very nice and gave Ella lots of candy so that even only 5 houses ended up practically filling her bag. Ella was super excited about Halloween and after we got home and she downed a few treats, she passed out. The next day she started talking about Santa. Great. It's not even November and we're talking about the chimney and elves and constantly threatening her with the old "Ella! You need to be good or else Santa won't bring you any presents." Yes, Mom, I remember that.
Cameron was a stunned passenger. She was a Witch (after her whole cat schtick was ripped off by Ella). Her costume was a hat which fell off about every 15 feet. She didn't smile once, but just looked worried at every house, especially a new neighbor who went nuts with her Halloween decorating. I mean, I was a bit spooked going up to her door. Christine carried me away when I started crying though. She's a nice wife.
