Crazy Golf Story.

Still at the cottage, my Pops had entered my Bro-in-law Michael and I in a charitable golf tournament. My handicap has soared to 6 recently, but I figured it was for a good cause, so I played.
Little did I know that my brother in law is an aspiring murderer. Yes, MURDERER.
The course is a small, 9 hole par 3. So we played it twice. On hole 1, Michael tees off and lands his ball right on the green. Nice shot, yes. Unfortunately, there were four other golfers on the green. He was not Mr. Poopular.
A few holes later, he drops a drive about 4 feet from a cart with a few other golfers in it. Once again, two thumbs down.
Then a few holes later we're lined up on a hole with a very narrow fairly off the tee. There are fences on both sides of the tee where people can sit (in this case hide and pray) behind. Michael hits a fierce drive from the tee. Thankfully, the next two groups were all hiding behind the fence. Stupidly, I had not left my bag and cart behind the fence. The ball flew at about 150 kph straight into my bag. Big noise. Everyone behind the fence gasps and hides their heads in their hands. I laugh hysterically, but, while trying desperately to not get noticed, bend over and tuck my face in my arm. Honestly, the noise that I made is one I have never heard in my life. It was a weird high pitch sucking noise. Really weird.
We go and look for Michael's ball, but one of the guys hiding came over, reached into a small pocket in my bag and pulls out Michael's ball. Odds of that EVER happening again? Nil.
