Ella = Brainiac

So this morning Ella did two things which were pretty amazing (at least I think so).

Last night we went to a bbq party near by at Nick and Shannon's. Poor Ella knocked a wine glass off the table when trying to reach for some crackers and felt really bad. This morning I told her I was very proud of what a good girl she was at the party and she said "No Papa. Not a good girl. I break glass."

I told her that was ok, it was an accident and she didnt mean it. Then she said "I was getting cracker."

I felt bad for the little thing. She actually remembered it over night.

Then she wwas going to the bathroom and as usual had no clothes on (she was between changes - more in a minute). I told her to wash her hands and she said "No Papa. Too cold." I said "Whatyoutalkinboutgirl?" because its summer and I use warm water. I realized it was because she didnt want to lean on the sink which was cold. So I got her bench out and before she leaned forward she took her hand towel and put it between her tummy and the sink. Clever monkey.

So Ella's big thing right now is to change her clothes. Constantly. What a diva. She could spend the whole day in there changing. She goes into the room dressed in shorts and a tee shirt and comes out in a wool sweater and panties. She goes back in and comes out in a dress over pajamas. She goes in in jeans and comes out in a full military uniform. Thats a lie. She doesnt have a military uniform.

At dinner tonight she said "Papa I have a question." ??? Where does she get this stuff? I was painting Cameron's door trim today and she kept saying "Good job Papa. Good job."

She's sharp I tell you. Sharp.
