Bring on Spring

We're all really ready for Spring here. It seems like winter drags on forever and we're all going cabin crazy. The girls have started playing outside and riding their bikes around the back yard. I see Tour de France potential there.

Our back yard is like a lake, so the girls love getting on their boots and stomping around in the massive puddle. We don't love it as much. Average time outside before needing to be changed: 14 seconds.

The girls are changing fast. Cameron is speaking more and more, and spends a lot of time singing. When she plays, gets dressed, waits for food, etc. she is always singing. It's cute. What's not cute is her recent digression to having accidents. Poor thing. Poorer us (well, Christine really, she has to clean up most of the messes). We think that Cameron's change of room to an older group at day care might be stressing her out. Hopefully she gets used to it soon.

Ella is starting to know her letters and numbers. She can write 'Ella', 'Mama', and 'Papa' with the P's backward. So I guess it spells 9a9a. Not sure who that is.

The girls LOVE each other too. They play together all the time, and, although they have some pretty good scraps, they always make up and have fun together. In the morning, Cameron wakes up to her alarm/night light, barrels down the hall to our room, hears Ella and barrels back down the hall to Ella's room where they play together. That's the best because we can wake up slowly.

Ella's started going to birthday parties. Such a big girl... It's cute to hear her talk about her friends at school. She lover her teacher Mrs. Davis too. We ask her every day what she did at school but she never tells us. Oh well, I like to think it's all fun stuff.
