Christmas = Good times

While our girls are both sick, I thought I'd post a few shots of our Christmas. Poor Cameron has been sick with a cough that sounds like a seal for about 5 days. Then, last night Ella woke up and barfed at 1 am. Geez, and I thought I felt rough after New Years… I'm exhausted, so if the next few posts make you wonder who the boring dude writing these posts is, don't worry, it's me.

We had a pretty relaxing Christmas. Ella stayed in bed (awake) and chatted away to herself until almost 7 am when Cameron got up. We we're impressed that she didn't wake up and bolt to our room. Or the tree and madly open all the gifts.

The girls got a ton of stuff. Even though we try to not give them too much because we know they're going to get lots more from our families, they still seem to end up with a lot. They basically go nuts on Christmas morning. I've decided that it has nothing to do with the presents. They rip them open and in a half panic, grab another on and toss it away. I've taught them well obviously. The panic look in their eyes as they shred the paper away? My moves.

My Dad and my lovely niece Delilah came for a few days after Christmas. We had a great time – the girls went to a movie, went swimming and skating. It was Ella's first time skating and she did really well. She started slowly, but after half an hour completed a perfect triple lutz with a side of sow cow. Delilah was trying out her brand-new skates with picks and was a star as well. Cameron and my Dad watched us while freezing their buns off.
