Another Christmas.

Christmas day Ella woke up bright and early and ran into our room shouting “Show me the money!!”. Acyually she didnt cos she was still too upset about not getting the TV. Instead she woke up, cried a bit and had breaky: Christmas Boob. We had a little gift exchange and then hit the road for Ottawa.

It's great driving on Christmas day - no traffic and with all the global warming its like summer out there. We had dinner Christmas night at Alan and my Moms place. Ella was happy to see everyone; Eva and Delilah (who loves holding Ella), Kate (Alan's daughter) and of course my Mom and Alan. My Tante Marie and Michael also came by and it was great to see them. We had some Champagne and then the house got really hot for about a half hour. Ella was spoiled by everyone and was super smiley after getting lots of great gifts. This frightens me because she seems to take after her mother.

On boxing day we went up to Wakefield for yet another Christmas party. Eva, Michael, Delilah, my Dad, Christine, Her Ellaness and I ate just about the best lamb I've ever tasted. Michael made it in the Big Green Egg (this is a real thing, not a joke, its the coolest BBQ going). More gifts and good times were had.

Ella seems to be pretty impressed with Christmas (if I have to type Christmas one more time Im going to barf. next year, it's going to be xmas). Can't wait until next year when she gets fascinated with the boxes and paper.

As usual, Im crap at remembering who gave Ella what, but thanks to everyone for their terrific gifts. And thanks for ours too.
