The Gals Visit

Christine had a few friends over for lunch today. There was supposed to be more but unfortunately some of the Girls were ill and the weather wasnt too hot (literally, it actually snowed for a change) so the driving was crap.

Anyway, Liz made it as well as Janice and the very lovely Emma (13 months and now a good friend of Ella’s). Ella and Emma hit it off and spent most of the time chatting about boys, soap operas and their hair. Typical. When I pointed out to them that neither could actually speak, Emma looked up at me and said “Butt out Cooper, this is girls talk”.

Ella now spends a lot of time in her exer-saucer or lying on her blanket playing with her toys. She can hold her head up really well and is sleeping really well. Lucky parents we are. Oh, she can also play the violin while tap dancing. Not sure where she got those skills–must be from her Mum.
