Bronchitis Bites.

Yes, Ella was sick last week. She had bronchitis. For those of you out there who have kids, you know what it's like. For those of you who don't, well take it from me, it aint much fun. Anyway, she's back to fighting fit and her normal happy self. Shes even lifting weights (see the pic of her lifting some serious baby dumbells on the couch). I signed on as her personal trainer but after a few workouts she fired me because she said "you're just not pushing me to reach my limits and I'm not seeing the results I wanted right before summer".

She's also starting to actually spend some time outside after a long winter cooped up inside with her Mum watching soaps and gambling on line. She loves being outside. This afternoon she was sitting in her stroller outside watching me mow the lawn. She found this very amusing. She was all smiles and doing her latest thing (she sort of dances or shakes when she gets really excited). I told her if she thought it was so much fun she should mow the lawn herself. She just looked at me funny so I had to finish. Something tells me she will never, ever mow the lawn.

She's still not crawling but you can tell she's wants to. She lifts up a leg and the kicks her feet on the floor realy quickly. It makes me laugh. I tried helping her by lifting her up and trying to put her in the crawl position but no dice. She just wont do it. It's weird though because when I put her behind the wheel of the car she drives as fast as I do. I'll have to read up on that in the baby books.
