Break out the shovels

Well things are looking good for my snow shoveling season. Ella's Grandma and Grandpa gave her a snow shovel and she took to it like an Otter to the back stroke. Ok, she didnt do a perfect job on the laneway, but after two and half hours, I let her go inside for a snack (and wow was she hungry). This summer she's going to learn how to use the lawn mower for sure.
Ella's really starting to speak good in Englisher. She using bigger words than me Papa. She can speak in sentences and her repertoire of words is getting bigger by the day. She had a Christmas Concert at her daycare this week (which I missed – *$#@!). Christine said she was great. She was one of the only younger kids to sing and do all the hand motions.
Cameron is going from her 'blob' phase to her 'cute baby' phase. Not that she wasnt cute before, but she's getting chubby cheeks and is super smiley. She's a pretty cool customer. Ella was pretty calm too (no more, sadly), but Cameron seems more relaxed. I think it might be because she gets less attention. There's constantly a storm of activity around her, and she kind of sits there in the eye of it all doing nothing.
Anyway here are some recent shots. My Mum came for a weekend a few weekends ago and we had a great time. Before she left, she put blue blocks on Christine and Cameron's heads. I though it was a bit weird, but there you have it.
Kidding. Ella did that.
