Merry Ho Ho!

 

As 2012 comes to an end, we want to wish all our family and friends a tip top Christmas and best for 2013. 

We've received a ton of Christmas cards—thanks to everyone who sent us one. We're slackers and as usual didn't send any out. So thanks to those who keep sending us theirs. Consider this ours to you. 

2012 has been a great year. Our little chickens are growing up fast. They're healthy and happy and we love them to death, even when they drive us coo-koo. (Christine would probably say the same about me—I hope).

Ella is in Grade one and is doing well. She can read whole books now and is getting much better at writing. She is loving learning french. She has lots of friends at school and loves playing with her Sis, Cameron. Sometimes they play this weird game where they scream at each other, chase either around and slam doors. I might be getting old, but I just don't get it. Especially all the fake crying. Anyhoo.

Cameron is in JK and is doing fine, I think. I'm concerned that she doesn't actually do anything, but gets other kids to do stuff for her. (For those who don't know, we call her the CEO.) She keeps bringing home toys, lip chap and treats that other kids "give" her. I'm not so sure. She can already talk a dog off a meat truck, so I have a feeling they might get home and feel sad about it.

In 2013 I'm going to try and write more blogs (don't hold me to it!). As they get older I have less time, but I want to keep at it until they're in high school. Things should get really interesting then.
